A hospital mortuary is a place used to store human corpses awaiting identification (ID), removal for autopsy, respectful burial, cremation, or other methods of disposal. In modern times, corpses are often refrigerated to delay decay. Mortuary equipment is critical to preserving the bodies of the deceased until they are transported to a funeral home or cemetery.
Planning the functional workflow within the mortuary and throughout the facility is critical for architects and medical device planners. The safe and efficient transport of patient remains from hospital beds to mortuary cold rooms and sometimes to observation and autopsy rooms is essential.
We can provide mortuary equipment and fixtures that make working in a mortuary easier and more convenient than ever. In this section you can choose from an extensive range of trolleys, autopsy tables, dissecting tables, mortuary freezers and other tools and equipment.
The body was supposed to be placed in a body bag.
High-quality body bags are an important asset in ensuring proper storage of bodies, preserving the dignity of the deceased and preventing the spread of infections around hospitals.
Advantages:
1. Will delay the decomposition and slow down the process, this enclosed environment can effectively prevent aerobic bacteria from causing decomposition.
2. This makes it easier to store and move bodies, to transport bodies off-site for autopsies or other procedures, or to perform routine funeral care.
PEVA Body Bag
1. Can be used for biodegradation, incineration will not cause any harm to the environment.
2. Resistant to ultra-low temperature, suitable for storage in frozen environment.
3. Odorless and lighter.

PVC Body Bag
1. Cheap
2. Non-degradable and produces toxic gases.
3. The hardness will change with the temperature.

The body of the deceased is placed on a stretcher/trolley, covered with a cloth and transported to the nearest staff lift, which takes it directly to the mortuary. The staff member walks in front of the stretcher and carries the deceased away as politely as possible.
Mortuary Cot
With a mortuary stretcher it is easy to adjust the height of the stretcher to suit your needs at the time and you can use the stretcher without help. These trolleys are equipped with large swivel castors and can be pushed effortlessly to the bedside. The nurse then simply adjusts the handle hands at each end to bring the trolley up to bed height and transfer the deceased to the mortuary tray.

Transport Torlley With Cover
The concealed body transport trolley offers another simple solution for any medical facility.
Once the trolley has been covered with a light false top or cover over the unit, the body is ready for transport.
During the transport of the body to the mortuary, the trolley appears empty to prevent disturbing sightings by passers-by when they see the body. In addition, the oversized castors and lightweight aluminium construction reduce the physical impact of the transport on the caregivers.

For forensic purposes, a hospital mortuary may be designated as the place of autopsy. If the cause of death is sudden or unnatural, the coroner may need to conduct an autopsy or investigation.
1. Autopsy workstation
The use of a workstation to examine a cadaver during an autopsy is designed to locate and help determine the cause and manner of death.
The autopsy table workstation supports the body during the procedure and is designed to enable the body to be positioned in the most efficient way for examination. Equipped with running water to facilitate the rinsing off of all blood released during the procedure. The autopsy table provides a clean and smooth working surface that
is a sloping tray (for drainage) with raised edges (to prevent blood and fluids from draining onto the floor).
2. Autopsy Tools
We provide anatomical tools to examine the body during the autopsy. Our post-mortem tools are designed to determine the cause and manner of death and to identify the possible presence of disease or injury.
Autopsy tools include:
1. Bone Saw
2. Scalpel
3. Scissors
4. Rib Shears
5. Toothed Forceps

3. Suction Machine
These devices are usually connected to autopsy/dissection stations and use aspirators to expel large amounts of gas, fluid, tissue and/or other debris from body parts through high vacuum suction during autopsy.
These aspirators are usually portable or portable and provide a quick and easy way to pour liquid into the tank, all in a completely sealed manner, without experiencing gas or liquid leakage.
-Compact design
-Built-in vacuum pump
-Adjustable vacuum pressure
-Vacuum gauge
-Safe and accurate suction

If the body is not treated, it will decompose quickly.
Using mortuary coolers to keep the body at very low temperatures slows down this decomposition process.
Embalming delays death by preserving the body for about a week, but factors such as body condition and temperature conditions may play a role.
While these methods do slow down the natural decomposition process, they don’t stop it completely. Eventually, all bodies decompose, whether they’re embalmed or not.
The method of anticorrosion treatment is very detailed and requires a high level of detail. In order to be able to do these things, the area must be clean and well cared for. The embalming table is designed to keep body fluids and embalming fluids away from professionals handling bodies. The liquid is drained through the table, a process necessary to keep the mortuary clean.
A thorough cleaning of the table is very important for the personal safety of the embalmer. Stainless steel material, will not promote bacterial growth. As in any safe work environment, they must be able to pass easily through the morgue and be fitted with wheels that lock into place.
The embalming table is adjustable in height so that embalmers or others handling bodies do not strain their backs and arms by using tables that are too high or too low. The hydraulic antiseptic table allows easier access to all parts of the body, while also assisting in repositioning the table when it is in position.

A mortuary fridge is a piece of equipment that maintains a suitable environment for the remains of the deceased. Almost all modern healthcare facilities will have a cold room with a mortuary refrigerator.
Depending on the size of the mortuary freezer, cadaver freezers can have spaces for 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 or 9 bodies to utilise space and maximise body storage.
The multi-door mortuary freezer is designed with a separate door. A body tray is included with a stronger sliding system to ensure easy pull out and pull back so that the complete body can be seen from the fridge. When the door is open, the body can be pulled out using the complete shelving system.
The side-loading mortuary fridge is designed to meet space requirements, the telescopic tray is easy to pull out and when the door is open the body tray and body are displayed in full side view.
Each cabinet model is equipped with a temperature control system with a high contrast digital display for precise temperature control and recording. Made from corrosion-resistant metal components, our mortuary coolers feature advanced polyurethane insulation to ensure maximum thermal efficiency and durability. We offer a wide range of configurations, sizes and styles of freezers and we can also customise any shelving requirements that your mortuary freezer may require.

If your hospital has a mortuary, it is important to purchase all the necessary equipment, otherwise it will still be incomplete.
It is important to have all the necessary mortuary equipment to help in any situation, which will make the mortuary management process much simpler. In addition, if the tools in the mortuary are properly functional, they will play a greater role in reducing the workload of the staff.
